Indian shares open lower as early trends in the counting for the Delhi state elections show the upstart Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is likely to emerge as the winner in Delhi's state elections. Poor corporate earnings from banks and infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro are also weighing on sentiment. The S&P BSE Sensex falls as much as 0.6% and is now trading flat at 28,223.99. The AAP's possible win has particularly affected the share price of two power suppliers to Delhi -- Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. (500390.BY) and Tata Power Co. Ltd. (500400.BY) Tata Power is down 1.5%, while Reliance Infrastructure is 1.9% lower. Larsen & Toubro (500510.BY) declines 1.1% after its fiscal third quarter results failed to meet street expectations.
